Our heavy duty 10 HP Diesel Water Blaster  – designed for heavy industrial cleaning in non-mine site applications. Same as the Mine Spec with some mine spec features omitted. It is a very reliable diesel unit – now with the tough Kohler Engine as Standard – for all sorts of tough Industrial Cleaning. There is nothing better!

Some unique features to highlight:

• Custom built engine-bay on its own sub-frame is vibration mounted onto the main frame – protecting components against long-term vibration damage.
• A convenient tough galvanized hose reel with 30 m double wire hose.
• A low water level auto engine shut-down in a s/steel water box /break tank creates a water buffer when lines are empty and prevents pump dry running or cavitation – the main reasons for pump failure.
• Extra Large water filter – protecting the ceramic pistons against rust and scale notoriousfor causing premature pump failure.
• A slave oil tank (extra reservoir) connected to the pump triples oil supply to the pump ensuring it always stays well lubricated – preventing oil starvation and damage even when not checked daily.
• Electric start via a user-friendly control box which incorporates a push-button start, an hour meter (to schedule maintenance), Emergency stop and fault indicator lights.

Pump

• We only use HAWK – The World’s Best Pump for the Cleaning Industry. Brass Triplex Pump – Reliable, Efficient & Tough!
• HAWK Model: NPM1525 – rated 3625 psi, 15 lpm.
• Standard setup is 3000 psi, 15 lpm. (3600 psi possible but at high engine revs which is not recommended long-term)
• Low Speed pump @1450 RPM – less wear & tear.
• A frame mounted slave oil tank triples oil supply to the pump – preventing oil starvation. Incorporated because operators often don’t check oil levels daily

By-Pass Valve

• By-pass valve is frame-mounted on the galvanized sub-frame, not hanging off the pump where it amplifies vibration causing extra stress on the drive gearbox and drive shafts.
• Unique, top-quality K7-2 by-pass /unloader valve if set-up is at 3000 psi or below, or K1 valve if set-up is between 3000 and 3600 psi.
• The K1 and K7-2 are soft-acting which means the pressure comes on gradually – no kick-back on the gun when you pull the trigger. This makes it safe and seals last longer.
• Also stores zero pressure in hose when trigger is released or unit is switched off. This unique feature makes it safe and again less wear and tear on by-pass valve, hose and gun seals.
• The by-pass valve is frame mounted – not hanging off the pump.
  Advantages:
  • Less stress on the drive shaft
  • Does not amplify vibration during operation
  • Water in by-pass does not just circulate in the pump where it heats up fast and cause damage to seals – it runs a longer path through hoses and back into the tank and takes much longer to heat up.

Water Filters

• A large capacity heavy duty industrial water filter with stainless steel mesh protects the pump’s ceramic pistons against water line debris and extending pump life. (Not just a single water filter or strainer that blocks up easily and causes pump cavitation)

Water Break Tank

• A stainless steel water break tank with brass float and low water level auto engine shut-down float switch protects the pump against dry running and extends pump life to the maximum.
• Creates a water buffer at start-up when water supply hoses are often empty.
• By-pass valve diverts water back into tank during by-pass – so water does not heat up during by-pass mode as with by-pass valves mounted on the pump.

Hose Reel / Gun / Hose / Pressure Gauge

• Heavy duty, frame mounted hose reel. Fully hot dip galvanised. Reel rated to 7250 psi. Comes with 5-year structural warranty.
• 90º reel swivel – rated to 4000 psi.
• 30 m 3/8″ double wire R2 HP Hose rated to 5000 psi with stainless steel fittings. Reel has capacity for 50 meters of 3/8” hose
• Hose swivel prevents kinks and hose stiffness while pressure cleaning
• Tough Italian MV920 Gun rated 4060 psi with Stainless Steel lance with moulded hand grip – fits into frame mounted gun holster
• Stainless Steel BSP/NPT Nozzle Holder fitted to the lance with a 1/4″ stainless steel nozzle with 15 degree fan for general cleaning – correctly sized for pressure and flow
• Stainless Steel pressure gauge – liquid filled to protect against pressure spikes
